Creating an Asset Management Sub-Account
- After logging in, select Sub-Account under your profile icon.
- Choose Create Sub-Account.
Configure:
- Login ID & Password
- Account Type: Asset Management Sub-Account
- Customization: Adjust settings as preferred
- Click Submit.
Linking Sub-Account to a Trading Team
- Click Link Trading Team Account.
- Enter the trading team’s UUID (provided by them).
- Upload a signed binding agreement (supplied by the trading team).
- Confirm binding. Status will update to Under Custody.
Transferring Funds to the Sub-Account
- Navigate to Funds Transfer.
- Select the cryptocurrency and amount.
- Confirm the transfer.
Unlinking the Sub-Account
Automatic Unlinking
(Default: Disabled)
- Go to Operations → Sub-Account Settings → Enable Auto-Unlink.
- Set a threshold or alerts for notifications.
- When funds meet the threshold, the account unbinds automatically.
Manual Unlinking
- Select Under Custody → Unbind.
- Enter SMS + Google Authenticator codes.
- Post-unlink, the Link Trading Team Account option reappears.
Deleting the Sub-Account
(Recommended if unused)
- Under Operations, choose Delete Sub-Account.
- Enter Google Authenticator code to confirm.

Becoming a Trading Team
Requirements:
- OKX account with VIP ≥1 or self-held funds ≥5m USDT.
- Contact an account manager to apply.
Trading via Sub-Accounts
- Log in → Navigate to API.
- Select Client Accounts → Choose sub-account → Apply for V5 API.
- Refer to API documentation for trading workflows.
Managing Investor View Permissions
- Under Sub-Accounts, select Client Accounts.
- Go to Operations → Sub-Account Settings.
- Adjust Transaction History Settings per contractual agreements.
