FAQ Section
Q: Is my wallet information stored on OKX servers?
A: No. Your encrypted wallet data is only stored in your personal iCloud or Google Drive account. OKX never has access to your backup files.
Q: What happens if I forget my backup password?
A: Without the backup password, your encrypted wallet file cannot be decrypted. This is why we emphasize securely storing your password offline.
Q: Can I use both iCloud and Google Drive backups simultaneously?
A: Yes, you can create separate backups on different cloud services for redundancy. Each will require its own backup password.
Q: How often should I update my cloud backup?
A: We recommend updating your backup whenever you:
- Add new assets to your wallet
- Create new transaction addresses
- Change security settings
